Imperial bottle of 2009 Margaux Alter Ego Medoc

This is a 6-litre bottle of fine Bordeaux wine, An “Imperial” known as a Methuselah in Burgundy and Champagne.

Alter Ego benefits from the same attention as its big brother. This is a sublime Margaux with its signature Margaux tannin: a lot of concentration but with a touch of velvet.

2009 is generally considered a very good vintage for Margaux, and that includes its second wine, Alter Ego de Palmer. The 2009 vintage in Margaux is praised for its ripe, concentrated fruit, balanced structure, and potential for aging. Good for drinking now - you’ll need a lot of friends to help!
